the nervous system library
An online library of somatic tools to help you understand your nervous system, work with your survival responses, and find your way back to more regulation.
What it is
The Nervous System Library is an online collection of guided somatic video practices, meditations and reflections all led by Hannah. These practices are designed to help you better understand your nervous system and learn how to support yourself through different states: Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn, alongside a module dedicated to cultivating Rest & Digest.
Rather than a course you need to complete from beginning to end, the Library is a resource you can return to again and again. Learn to recognize what state you’re in, understand what your nervous system may need, and choose a practice that meets you there.
Whether you’re completely new to nervous system work or already have experience with somatic practices, the Library is designed to meet you where you are.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting started. If you have a question that isn’t answered here, you’re always welcome to reach out.
-
Not at all. The Library is suitable both for complete beginners and for those who already have experience with somatic practices and want to deepen their understanding. You’ll also receive a downloadable Nervous System Workbook that explains the foundations in more depth and supports you as you move through the Library.
-
There’s no set order or schedule. You can move through each module from beginning to end, or choose a practice based on what feels most supportive for your nervous system that day.
-
Each somatic practice is designed around the needs of a particular nervous system state. Some exercises help you ground and release activation, while others support you in reconnecting with your body, creating a sense of safety, or gently coming out of shutdown.
In general, you can expect gentle movement, self-touch, simple breathing practices, vagus nerve exercises, and moments of stillness and body awareness. The practices are invitational, so you can always adapt them to what feels supportive for you.
-
Each section of the Library includes key words that can help you recognize what a particular nervous system state might feel like. You can use these as a guide to notice what resonates with your experience in the moment and choose a practice from there.
And remember that nervous system states aren’t always clear-cut; you may recognize yourself in more than one. There’s no “wrong” place to start.
-
No. The Library is an educational and experiential resource and is not intended as a replacement for therapy, medical care or individualized professional support.
-
The practices are designed to be gentle and adaptable. You’re always invited to listen to your body, take breaks, make movements smaller, or skip anything that doesn’t feel supportive.
